Night in Helena Mt. was quiet as the Memorial Day Holiday drew to a close, we ate at a local family restaurant and then headed to the hotel. Morning came brightly and by 9 we were on the road to a ghost town called Castle. It really is just a collection of shacks that are falling to pieces, you can’t get close as the current land owner obviously fears litigation should anyone get injured by getting too close. Still the drive up was nice on a dirt road which got the Jeep nice and muddy. A lunch stop in a tiny town Wilsall found a beautiful grain elevator or two and some other gems, then off to Yellowstone where it was raining, then sunny, then cloudy. A short introduction today then a more extensive exploration tomorrow as we see if a certain road is open or not.
Nice shots! I just finished designing a poster for Montana. Check it out: http://50statesdesignproject.wordpress.com/2012/05/31/41-massive-montana/
