Yesterday’s desert mountain experience has finally sunk in, we were lucky! A flat tyre could have been a disaster as we had no communication, and nobody knew where we were least of all us. So aside from lighting fires and sending smoke signals we had no idea what else to do in an emergency. Fortunately we did have blankets, water and biscuits and a pretty awesome sat nav which finally helped us out into civilisation. So today we did mainstream tourists stuff and went to Dead Horse Point, Arches National Park and wound up in Moab for the night. Tomorrow we head northwards towards Salt Lake on the way towards Seattle before turning back towards Chicago for the flight home in around 2 weeks time.
